Just when you thought winter was going to last forever, there are signs of better days to come  beautiful snowdrops and aconites found in Felbrigg Hall woods, a good sign that spring is on its way.

Beautiful September day for relaxing, walk along the wet sand and paddle your toes, stroll along the pier or simply take in the views of the  wide open sky of the Norfolk coastline.

We are happy to welcome guests to Flintside Cottage.

During these difficult times the safety of our guests and ourselves is of great importance to us. As the situation is changing on a daily basis, we will continue to follow Government guidance and will update this page with Covid19 information.

Cleaning will be taking extra time – Because of the Covid19 risk correct PPE will be worn. All surfaces will be throughly cleaned and then going over again with a steam cleaner and Professional Antiviral Disinfectant which conforms to the European standards EN14476 against Covid19. This means that we need extra time for changeover , so arrival will be 4pm and departure at 10am.

We need your help on leaving – We are asking guests to strip the bed, the reason being for contracting the virus is airborne, and it’s considered that removing the bedding could make the virus airborne. Please fill the dishwasher with all crockery, cutlery that you have used, do not empty it, we will be washing every thing between guests. Please empty all bins and put into the outside bins. Please leave windows open so that the rooms are well ventilated.

Touch contamination – unfortunately some items in the cottage will be missing or kept to a minimum for example – magazines, leaflets, games, ornaments, cushions and throws.

If you develop Covid19 symptoms – we hope you have a happy holiday in Cromer, but if you develop symptoms the Government advise is to return home and self isolate.

Bedlinen, pillows, towels – Up Dated May 2021 As we come out of lockdown restrictions, we are now providing all bed linen and towels but if you prefer to bring your own pillows and towels or all your own bed linen please let us know before arrival.

Shops, restaurants, pubs – the Town is beginning to open its shops, most restaurants, cafes have a takeaway menu, fish and chip shops are open, Morrison’s local supermarket are doing a click and collect service so that you can pick up your groceries at a selected time, or Tesco/Sainsbury/Waitrose will deliver in the area, this will save you time queuing and spend more time exploring.

Although the ‘new normal’ maybe a little different, we hope you enjoy your holiday and thank you for your understanding.

The Crab & Lobster Festival (Cromer and Sheringham), “A Feast of Fun, Food, Art, Music & Heritage” has been announced for 18th and 19th of May 2019. Don’t miss the Auction and World Crabbing Competition on Sunday 25th August 2019.
